This conference - organised by the International NGO Training and Research Centre (INTRAC) - was held from 3-5 December 2008 in the Netherlands. It gathered 140 participants from over 40 countries for three days to discuss examples of civil society activity, foster debates on the nature and future of civil society and to give food for thought and new insights.
