The Open Forum budget amounts to € 2,991,000 for the July 2009-December 2011 period. This budget is already 94% covered thanks to the generous support of:

• The Austrian Development Agency
• The UK Department for International Development
• The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency
• The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland
• The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
• The Agence Française de Développement
• The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation
• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxemburg
• The Czech Development Agency

Each one of these donors is contributing to a pooled fund managed by a group of CSO’s; the "CSO Management Group", and a group of donors; "the Donor Coordination Group". The guideline and basic principles of the managment of the funds as well as the responsibilities of each group is decribed in a Memorandum of Understanding.

This is a very innovative and pionneering case where CSO’s and donors collaborate and an atypical case where governments pool their efforts for an international process.
