Each region consolidated the messages, inputs and priorities of the national consultations into a regional statement on CSO development effectiveness, tailored to their regional context and key issues from the consultation process.

Praparatory Regional Seminars
To prepare national coordinating organizations for their upcoming roles as convenors of the Open Forum consultations, four regional seminars were organized between late 2009 and early 2010 with the aim of:
- raising the interest of national CSOs to conduct country consultations on CSO development effectiveness.
- coming to a collective regional understanding on how the national consultations would be conducted
