Busan Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation
The Busan Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation is the multilateral agreement resulting from the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF4), 29 November to 1 December 2011 in Busan, Republic of Korea, agreed by civil society organizations as well as partners governments, traditional donors, South South cooperators, the BRICS, and private donors.
For civil society, the Busan agreement is a milestone as it is the first time that civil society organizations participated in negotiations as full and equal participants alongside the other development actors.
